The Arbors, New Orleans

The Arbors offers large forested home sites ready to build on high, natural levee land just 6 miles from the CBD. Our gated community has home sites from 1/2 to over 1 Acre in a community of lakes, trails, and trees. Call us for more information or to arrange a personal tour.

Trees are multi-tasking machines. They cool us in the summer, block winter winds, filter the air, absorb and recycle stormwaters, reduce erosion, and make life a little more enjoyable.

Our younger trees have survived and will thrive in the naturally thinned forest. Each home will enjoy the privacy and solitude of the surrounding forest of oak, maple, pecan, elm and sugarberry.

A new planned community

The Arbors is a 92 Acre new planned community located in the Lower Coast of Algiers, also know as the English Turn peninsula. Situated at the juncture of Louisiana Highway 406 and the Mississippi River, the site fronts both River Road (also known as Patterson Road) and English Turn Parkway. One side of the property abuts an undeveloped City right of way named Canal Street and the other abuts a small single family residential development (at Jack Wyman Road) and property owned by the English Turn development entity.

The parcel is largely wooded with substantial hardwood trees. Its frontage on English Turn Parkway is directly opposite the English Turn Community. Its frontage on River Road boasts river views and access to the Mississippi River levee.

Directions: From the Central Business District, take the Crescent City Connection bridge across the Mississippi River to the West Bank; exit General DeGaulle East (1st Exit). Cross the Intercoastal Waterway to Woodland Highway (St. Highway 406). Turn right on Woodland Highway and go to English Turn Parkway.
